Also, this year we send our Christmas greetings only by digital means. Thus, we can invest the saved budget for print and postage of the Christmas cards much more meaningful.
In this challenging year, it is especially close to our hearts to support two organizations that are doing wonderful work:
- Hestia e.V. is a sanctuary for women and their children who suffer from domestic abuse in Berlin. They find shelter and are counseled and accompanied to find a way out of the threatening of violence. It is a special concern to rebuild the self-esteem of women and develop together new perspectives for a future without violence.
» learn more - The SEEDS Trust is a charity in South Africa which aims for a better future for disadvantaged children. We got to know the organization during our last visit to South Africa and have since been pursuing their efforts. Especially this year it was very impressive to see how many families could be supported under Corona conditions in an extremely pragmatic way.
