FDIS: Final Draft International Standard

ISO/FDIS 8102-1

Electrical requirements for lifts, escalators and moving walks

Part 1: Electromagnetic compatibility with regard to emissions

https://www.iso.org/standard/88859.html

Stage: Final text received or FDIS registered for formal approval [50.00]

The new edition of ISO 8102-1 will replace the 2020 edition. The planned EN 8102-1 is being developed as part of the EU mandate granted (M/552) and is intended to replace EN 12015:2020, which has not yet been published in the EU Official Journal and therefore does not give rise to a presumption of conformity. It remains to be seen whether the new EN ISO 8102-1 will successfully pass the HAS assessment. We will closely monitor this project and incorporate it into the planned update of our white paper "Harmonized standards".

The new edition of ISO 8102-2 will replace the 2021 edition. The planned EN 8102-2 is being developed as part of the EU mandate granted (M/552) and is intended to replace EN 12016:2013.
