Review of the GLOBALnorm Customer Day 2025

From sharing experiences to dreams of the future: our standards event in Waldkirch

Whether from the far north or the west of Germany - we made our way to the idyllic Waldkirch-Buchholz for this year's GLOBALnorm Customer Day. Our destination was the inspiring SIA Campus of SICK AG - a place where inspiration meets innovation. Just the right setting for a day full of exchange, ideas and insights into the future of digital standards management.

A day that set standards
Timo Lachner presented the latest functions in GLOBALnorm with great commitment and genuine team spirit - in a practical, understandable way and with a view to the specific challenges of our customers. Particularly interesting were:

- The new user administration
- The integrated standards assessment process for works standards
- The deadline setting and reminder function
- And last but not least, the latest developments relating to smart standards (ReqIF)

The presentations were complemented by exciting impulses from our hosts at SICK AG: how modern standards management works in practice and the added value of well thought-out system integration were impressively demonstrated.

What also made our customer day so special: The focus was on our participants. Their use cases, questions and experiences will have direct influences on the further development of GLOBALnorm. This direct line to practice is particularly important to us - because it is the only way to create a software solution that offers real added value.

Valuable discussions, new ideas and a strong network

In addition to the technical content, the personal interaction was also a highlight of the day. Whether over a cup of coffee with a view of the Black Forest or over lunch together - the open exchange at eye level was appreciated by all sides.

We would like to thank all participants as well as our great hosts Volker Schaber, Sabine Birkle, Markus Vollmer and Thiemo Rößle from SICK AG. They helped shape this day with their openness, professionalism and hospitality.

We are already looking forward to the next GLOBALnorm Customer Day - and to further developing the future of standards management together with you.
