Some of the
European “CE Directives” require internal technical documentation to show
compliance with the essential requirements.
Examples:
EMC Directive 2004/108/EC
Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC
Machinery Directive 98/37/EC
Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC
R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC
Our network of
partners can assist you in the design of technical documentation.
With respect to your obligation to instruct the users (external documentation) about your product(s), you must prepare a manual. In 1998, The European Council published
a resolution with regard to operating instructions for technical consumer goods. An important aspect in this area is the reasonably
foreseeable misuse. To prepare good instructions you should apply EN
62079 (IEC 62079), which is also used by our network of partners. If you like

If you need
assistance in preparing documentation and/or instructions, kindly write to info@globalnorm.ca or
